Gram Bangla Tubes Ltd. (GBTL) offers processing services for steel tube buyers in Bangladesh. The three services are hot dip galvanizing, cut to length with deburring, and CNC bending with fabrication. Hot dip galvanizing is on request, to ISO 1461, with a target of 85 micron confirmed per section thickness on quote.
Cut to length and deburring are available now for furniture tubing. The CNC bending, punching and fabrication service is planned from Q1 2027. Does GBTL offer hot dip galvanizing in Bangladesh?
GBTL offers hot dip galvanizing on request for its solar and construction sections, to ISO 1461. GBTL targets an 85 micron coating, and the achievable coating is confirmed per section thickness on quote. As a rule of thumb, coating life scales with zinc thickness divided by the local ISO 9223 corrosion rate.
What coating thickness does ISO 1461 require for hot dip galvanized steel?
ISO 1461 sets a minimum mean zinc coating by steel thickness, for articles that are not centrifuged. Steel over 6 mm needs 85 micron, and steel over 3 mm up to 6 mm needs 70 micron. Steel from 1.5 mm up to 3 mm needs 55 micron, and steel under 1.5 mm needs 45 micron. GBTL solar sections are 2.0 to 4.5 mm thick, so their ISO 1461 minimum is 55 or 70 micron.
Can GBTL cut steel tubes to length?
GBTL offers cut to length and deburring for furniture tubing. Deburring removes the sharp burr left on the cut end. The GBTL cut to length service is available now, with a 1 MT minimum for standard furniture sizes.
When will GBTL offer CNC tube bending?
GBTL plans to offer CNC bending, punching and fabrication from Q1 2027. CNC bending is aimed at furniture and automotive buyers, including white label work for branded and non branded furniture makers. GBTL quotes fabrication orders against the buyer's drawing.
