About Spiral Pipe (SSAW)
Spiral pipe from Gram Bangla Tubes Ltd. (GBTL) is large diameter SSAW steel pipe for water transmission, piling and structural projects in Bangladesh. GBTL runs the only SSAW spiral pipe mill in Bangladesh, at Sonargaon, Narayanganj. The spiral range covers 273 to 3600 mm OD and 3.0 to 25.0 mm wall.
GBTL spiral pipe was used, with LSAW pipe, for foundation piling on the 6.15 km Padma Multipurpose Bridge. In-house testing covers hydrostatic, weld, dimensional and mechanical checks on every spiral batch. Mill test certificates are available on request. Diameter, wall, length and quantity are agreed on quote for each project.
