Round steel pipes and tubes from Gram Bangla Tubes Ltd. (GBTL) serve furniture, solar, water, gas and construction buyers in Bangladesh. Sizes run from 12 mm to 3600 mm OD. Furniture tubes span 19.05 to 38.1 mm OD. Solar posts come in 76.1 and 88.9 mm OD, plus a 114.3 mm OD torque tube blank on request.
Standard MS, GP and GI pipe is sold through district dealers, with bulk orders from 20 MT direct from the mill. SS 201 and SS 304 pipe runs from 12 to 100 mm OD. GBTL runs the only SSAW spiral pipe mill in Bangladesh. Spiral, LSAW, SS, solar and furniture pipe are sold on quote.

GBTL makes round steel pipe from 12 mm to 3600 mm OD. MS round and GI pipe run from 12 to 300 mm OD, and GP round pipe from 12 to 165 mm OD. Spiral SSAW pipe covers 273 to 3600 mm OD, and LSAW pipe covers 300 to 2500 mm OD. Walls range from 0.35 mm on SS pipe to 25.0 mm on spiral pipe.
What is the difference between MS, GP and GI pipe?
MS pipe is uncoated mild steel and needs painting or coating for outdoor use. GP pipe is formed from strip that was zinc coated first, so cut ends and the weld seam need protection outdoors. GI pipe is hot dip galvanized after forming, which gives a heavier zinc layer inside and outside. GBTL sells all three through district dealers across Bangladesh.
Which round tube sizes does GBTL make for furniture?
GBTL makes furniture round tube in 19.05, 25.4, 31.75 and 38.1 mm OD, which equal 3/4, 1, 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 inch. These round tubes have walls from 0.8 to 1.5 mm. Both finishes, cold rolled black and GP pre-galvanized, are powder coat ready. The minimum order is 1 MT for standard furniture sizes.
What large diameter pipe has GBTL supplied for infrastructure in Bangladesh?
