LSAW pipe from Gram Bangla Tubes Ltd. (GBTL) is longitudinal submerged arc welded steel pipe for transmission lines and piling in Bangladesh. The pipe has one straight seam along its length. LSAW sizes run from 300 to 2500 mm OD in 3.0 to 17.0 mm wall.
Project buyers use LSAW pipe for gas and water transmission and for foundation piling. LSAW pipe from GBTL was used alongside spiral pipe for piling on the Padma Multipurpose Bridge.
