About Round Tube 38.1 mm OD
Round tube 38.1 mm OD is 1 1/2 inch steel tube made by Gram Bangla Tubes Ltd. (GBTL) for furniture makers in Bangladesh. It is the largest round size in the GBTL furniture range. It comes in 1.2 mm wall, about 18 SWG, and 1.5 mm wall, which sits between 17 and 16 SWG. Both walls are made in cold rolled black or pre-galvanized (GP). The tube is powder coat ready.
The 1 1/2 inch size can be used for larger furniture frames, such as tables, benches and seat bases. It can also be ordered for seat structures and guards on two and three wheelers. Orders start at 1 MT, mixed across the furniture range. Tube is cut to length and deburred on request. The GBTL CNC bending service is planned from Q1 2027.
