About Rectangular Tube 20x40 mm
RHS 20x40 mm is a rectangular steel tube made by Gram Bangla Tubes Ltd. (GBTL) for furniture frames in Bangladesh. It comes in 1.0 mm wall, about 19 SWG, and 1.2 mm wall, about 18 SWG. The finish is cold rolled black or pre-galvanized (GP), chosen per order.
The 20x40 mm section can be used for frame members such as table aprons, desk frames and bed rails. It is powder coat ready after standard pretreatment. Standard orders start at 1 MT, mixed across furniture sizes. Tell GBTL your cut lengths, and the tube is cut and deburred to suit. Custom rectangular sizes need a full coil run of 20 MT.

Which wall thickness should I choose for 20x40 rectangular tube?
As a general guide for RHS 20x40 mm, choose the 1.2 mm wall (about 18 SWG) for load bearing frames. Choose the 1.0 mm wall (about 19 SWG) for lighter frames and trim. GBTL makes both RHS 20x40 mm walls in cold rolled black or pre-galvanized (GP) finish.
