About SHS 40x40 mm
SHS 40x40 mm is a square hollow section for solar mounting and construction, made in Bangladesh by Gram Bangla Tubes Ltd. (GBTL). It comes in 1.2, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 mm wall, in 6 m lengths. The 2.0 to 3.0 mm walls suit solar mounting frames and light structures. The 1.2 and 1.5 mm walls suit lighter frames.
For solar and construction, finishes are pre-galvanized (GP) and MS black, with hot dip galvanizing on request. Cold rolled black is also made, powder coat ready after standard pretreatment.
