How the mill sets the daily MS rate
MS pipe starts as hot-rolled (HR) steel coil, and coil is a traded commodity — its price moves with the international steel market, freight and the taka. Each working morning the mill takes its current coil cost, adds slitting, forming, welding and finishing, and publishes one transparent rate to the online shop. That's the same rate a hardware trader in Narayanganj and a contractor in Chattogram see — there is no reseller margin baked in. It also means yesterday's screenshot can be wrong tomorrow: always order against the published rate of the day, which the mill re-confirms on every order before payment.
